Caring and creative, patient yet persistent, Susan Green is both a dedicated service provider and a sharp negotiator who knows how to care for customers as well as close deals. A former corporate bond broker on Wall Street for eight years, and the only female in her capacity in her prominent brokerage house, Susan acquired not only a tough skin, but a knack for bringing together high-profile buyers and sellers and facilitating multi-million-dollar bond trades. Originally from Westchester, Susan attended Rye County Day School then earned her BSM from Tulane University Business School. After living on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, she moved to the West Village 15 years ago where she still resides with her husband and two children. In the mid-1990s, Susan excelled in a business venture with her stepdaughter and partner in a breakthrough retail venue in Soho, Trufaux. Touted for its design originality and architectural uniqueness by New York Magazine, Time Out New York and The New York Times, this high-fashion women's designer clothing and accessories boutique was truly a head-to-toe entrepreneurial effort. Susan seamlessly transferred her creativity, attention to detail and service expertise to the world of real estate where she works alongside accomplished broker Wendy Maitland. While continually focused on work and on attaining exceptional real estate results for buyers and sellers, Susan also gives time to her community. An ongoing member of the City Harvest fundraiser committee, she co-chaired last year's Bid for Hunger event. Susan also chaired the Village Community School Auction for three years, significantly increasing the amount of annual money raised.
